Miami a Orlando: ¿auto o tren?

El problema que nadie menciona: llegás al centro de Orlando
La estación del tren está en el centro de Orlando. Disney está a unas 25 millas (40 km). Universal a 15 millas (24 km). SeaWorld a 18 millas (29 km). No hay transporte público que conecte la estación con los parques de forma práctica.
Es decir: si tomás el tren, igual necesitás Uber o alquilar un auto en Orlando para moverte. Eso se suma al costo del pasaje, y la diferencia se amplía todavía más.

La Florida Turnpike es una de las autopistas más tranquilas y bien mantenidas de Estados Unidos. Salís cuando querés, parás donde querés. Hay áreas de descanso con food courts cada 30–40 millas (50–65 km), ideales si viajás con chicos.
De paso, podés incluir una parada en los outlets de Orlando, en Kissimmee, o desviar unos minutos hacia alguno de los parques acuáticos que quedan en el camino. Con el tren, eso no es posible.
¿Cuándo tiene sentido el tren?

The Problem Nobody Talks About: You Arrive Downtown Orlando
The train station is in downtown Orlando. Disney is about 25 miles (40 km) away. Universal is 15 miles (24 km). SeaWorld is 18 miles (29 km). There's no practical public transport connecting the station to the theme parks.
That means if you take the train, you'll still need Uber or a rental car in Orlando to get around. Add that to your ticket cost and the gap grows even wider.

The Advantages of Driving
The Florida Turnpike is one of the smoothest, best-maintained highways in the United States. You leave on your own schedule, stop wherever you want. There are rest areas with food courts every 30–40 miles (50–65 km) — perfect if you're traveling with kids.
You can also add a stop at the Orlando Premium Outlets, swing through Kissimmee, or take a short detour to one of the water parks along the way. None of that is possible on the train.
When Does the Train Make Sense?
